Product
Everything your event team needs to stay in control.
eventOz covers the operational life of an event — from the first attendee import to the live dashboard on event day. These are the features that exist in the product today.
01 · Events & domains
Every event gets its own identity.
- Event fields: name, dates, timezone, venue, default language
- Status flow: Draft → Published → Live → Finished → Archived
- Instant subdomain: uxcon.eventoz.app
- Custom domains: app.uxcon.io, event.example.org, 2027.summit.eu
- DNS verification via TXT record (CNAME alternative) with clear status steps
- Automatic SSL provisioning, renewal, HTTP → HTTPS redirect
- Host-header routing: one deployment, many event brands
app.uxcon.io routes to exactly one event — attendees never see the organizer backend.
02 · People
One attendee. One record.
- One record per attendee: profile, ticket, groups, bookings, check-ins
- Add, edit, deactivate, search, filter, bulk actions
- CSV import with a mapping UI — e-mail is the only required field
- CSV export at any time
- TicketTailor sync: attendees, ticket types and order status — one registration model
- Cancelled external tickets deactivate automatically
- Groups — Staff, VIP, Speaker, Golden Ticket, Sponsor, General Admission — drive session access, booking rights and communication
TicketTailor sync or guided CSV import — everything lands in one registration model.
03 · Program
Days, rooms, tracks, sessions, speakers.
- Structure: Event → Day → Stage / Room → Session
- Rooms with name, description, capacity and location
- Tracks (UX, Development, AI, Leadership…) as a filter for attendees
- Session types: Talk, Keynote, Workshop, Panel, Break, Networking
- Sessions with capacity, visibility and booking status
- Speaker profiles: photo, role, company, bio, social links — multi-session
A change here updates the app, e-mails and website links at once.
04 · Bookings
Capacity, conflicts, waitlists — server-side.
- Personal agenda: “Add to my agenda” for every session
- Sessions are Open (no signup) or Bookable (seat reservation)
- Live capacity: Available → Few spots left → Full
- Overlap prevention: conflicting bookings are rejected, with an organizer override
- FIFO waitlists: freed seats promote automatically, notify and update the agenda
“You already have another session at this time.” — conflicts are checked atomically, organizers can override.
05 · Attendee app
A PWA on your domain, not an app-store listing.
- Mobile-first PWA on your own domain — no app store
- Home: countdown, event info, ticket, booked workshops — “Up next” live during the event
- Program filtered by day, time, room, track or session type
- My Agenda: saved, booked and auto-assigned sessions, chronological
- Ticket as QR code — a signed token, never personal data in plain text
- Magic-link login, event-bound tokens, no passwords
06 · On-site
Check-in that keeps working when the Wi-Fi doesn't.
- Check-in mode: scan the QR or search by name, e-mail, ticket ID
- Every check-in logs time, staff user and device
- Live dashboard: count, percentage, per hour, per ticket type, per group
- Session check-in for workshops and capacity control
- Check-ins and dashboard update live via server-sent events
07 · Communication
From your domain, to the right people.
- Channels: e-mail and in-app
- Targeting: everyone, groups, session attendees, checked-in, not checked-in
- Event updates appear instantly in the attendee app
- Templates: registration confirmation, reminder, booking confirmation, waitlist promotion, magic link
- Delivery via eventOz Mail by default — your own SMTP (STARTTLS 587 / TLS 465) stays optional
- Optional: organization-level SMTP defaults with per-event override
- Domain-aware links in every e-mail
- Send test e-mail with clear diagnostics; status and optional (default: off) fallback
Credentials are encrypted at rest — never returned by the API, never logged.
08 · Analytics
The debrief writes itself.
- Attendees: registered, active, checked in
- Sessions: bookings, capacity usage, waitlists
- Event: check-in rate and app adoption
- Numbers you can take into the debrief — or the sponsor meeting
Session bookings, capacity usage and waitlists — per session, per track.
09 · Workspace
Built multi-tenant from day one.
- One login, multiple organizations, multiple events each
- Org roles: Owner, Admin, Member
- Event roles: Admin, Program, Communication, Check-in, Analyst
- Integrations scoped to organization or event
- Event branding: logo, colors, cover, favicon, support e-mail
- Per-event pricing — an organization pays only when an event runs
Attendees, domains, teams and settings stay cleanly separated per event.
